In Year Six, we are learning about Parliament and democracy by thinking of an idea that will improve our classroom and benefit the children. We are trying to gain votes by campaigning for our idea and creating a manifesto. In class, we got into groups from 3-6 people then we decided on an idea (or two) and a group name. After that, we thought of how make it appealing to the parents, as there is £30 at stake for the winning idea. To get the profit (£30) we need to think of an original idea that is useful for our class, for example, puzzles and other games for wet play. Please keep on checking our blog to find out who achieves the winning vote. Votes are being taken tomorrow at 2pm!
