Welcome to our Knaphill website! A 'Good' school with outstanding leadership and management!
As you will be aware, the Government have made the decision to close all schools from Friday 20th March at the end of the school day.
We are awaiting further guidance about what it will mean for us in terms of schools remaining open for “key workers” and “vulnerable children”. We will keep you updated once we have this guidance, and then aim to provide you with additional information.
Once again I thank you all for your patience, kind words and e-mails during these challenging times. We have been busy preparing our Home Learning and more information will follow shortly.
Welcome to Knaphill School
‘Welcome, I hope that you enjoy your visit to our website. It has been designed to provide parents or prospective parents with all the information they need, as well as a good insight into what life is like at Knaphill School.
Safeguarding Recruitment Statement
Knaphill School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Our mission statement: At the Federation of Knaphill Schools: ‘ We provide the best education, which ensures every child achieves their full potential, whilst successfully equipping them with the key life skills, knowledge and values necessary to flourish in an exciting, ever changing modern world.’
At Knaphill Junior School, we believe passionately in developing the whole child and enabling our pupils to be the very best they can be. At the heart of this is a commitment to high quality core skills in English and Mathematics, as these are the foundation stones of learning. We strongly believe that the key to success is enjoyment, being given plenty of exciting opportunities, and developing the skills to tackle difficult challenges. These all begin with the relationships we build at home and in school. Inspirational teaching, engaging lessons and thorough assessments of each pupil are important and Knaphill school and staff work extremely hard to challenge and motivate each pupil to achieve his or her very best.
We provide a broad, creative and balanced curriculum… Read more
